At True Films, we believe in the power of investing in people and stories that can shape a
better world. By providing educational opportunities, we help break cycles of poverty,
giving children a chance at a brighter future. We see it as our responsibility to support
those who have no one else to lean on, offering them hope and stability through
education.
Meeting Kiki:
We first met Kiki when she was 16. During a visit to Uganda, Leigh had the chance to
meet her and other children. While many had dreams of becoming entertainers or fashion
journalists, Kiki confidently shared her desire to be a human rights lawyer. Her passion for
learning and vision for positive change were immediately evident, inspiring us to sponsor
her education.
Becoming Part of Our Family:
Kiki, who lost her mother at birth and never knew her father, has become a beloved
member of our True Films family. Over the years, we’ve celebrated her achievements and
admired her resilience. Now 21, it’s been a privilege to witness her growth and see her
thrive with the love and support she’s received.
Her Academic Journey:
She is currently in her second year of university, Kiki is pursuing studies in Bachelors of
adult and community education, driven by her dream to uplift vulnerable communities.
Her commitment goes beyond academics; she spends her holidays volunteering at Hope
of Children + Women of Violence, demonstrating her dedication to making a difference.
Why We Invest in People Like Kiki:
We believe in changing lives one person at a time, knowing that the impact will multiply.
By investing in Kiki, we are empowering her to uplift others and create a ripple effect of
positive change.
Kiki’s story shows the power of believing in someone’s potential and providing them with
the support they need to thrive. If her journey has inspired you, and you’d like to sponsor
a child, please reach out to us. Together, we can create more life-changing opportunities.
